Ganderbal, Aug 14 (KNO): Vehicular movement on the Srinagar–Ganderbal–Sonamarg–Ladakh route has been completely halted after the Kijpora bridge near the dumping site in Kangan was severely damaged due to rising water levels in the Wangat Nallah.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic Rural Kashmir, Ravinder Pal Singh, issued an advisory stating that all kinds of vehicular traffic from Srinagar/Ganderbal towards Sonamarg/Ladakh and vice versa have been stopped until the bridge is restored and clearance is given by the concerned BEACON authorities.
According to the advisory, accessed by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), motorists have been advised to avoid travelling on the route until further notice.
